DESCRIPTION:As the incidence of melanoma continues to rise rapidly in 
 the United States and around the world, the need to educate clinicians
  from various specialties on the disease also increases. During this c
 ourse nationally recognized experts will present information on preven
 tion, risk assessment, early detection, genetic factors, and current a
 nd future treatment choices for melanoma patients. Issues concerning s
 urgical management, adjuvant therapy, advanced disease therapy, and pe
 rsonalizing the course of treatment for individual patients will also 
 be discussed. This course is designed to provide information that will
