Event Description

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Review the practice guideline for screening and diagnosing pigmented lesions.
  • Review the use of current non-invasive modalities for the diagnosis of skin lesions.
  • Implement step-by-step procedures of detecting melanoma clinically.
  • Identify the most relevant diagnostic images of melanocytic and non-melanocytic tumors using non-invasive modalities.
  • Cite basic terminology for the effective use of dermoscopy and confocal microscopy.
  • Improve the ability to correlate clinical evidence with dermoscopic, confocal, and histologic findings for various pigmented lesions.
