Clinical Data :
Somalian male patient 22 years admitted with 2 huge scrotal and perianal swelling with multiple sinuses.
Histopathology Report :
Gross Description :
Specimen consists of 2 grayish white soft tissue , the larger measuring 5x3x2 cms. and the smaller one measuring 3x2x1.5 cms . The smaller mass is partially covered by skin . Cut surface is soft with yellowish necrotic areas. 3 blocks rep.
Microscopic Description :
Sections from both specimens reveal similar features showing malignant spindle tumour with ulceration and multiple foci of necrosis . The cells are pleomorphic with large hyperchromatic nuclei and prominent nucleoli . Bizzare cells, multinucleate giant cells, and abnormal mitotic figures are seen .

Diagnosis & Comments :
SCROTAL MASS (Bx) : SPINDLE CELL SARCOMA .

Comments :
The possibility of embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma or other malignant spindle cell tumours cannot be ruled out . Therefore immunohistochemical studies are mandatory for further typing and definitive diagnosis .
