More About Me: Peter Sonnenreich is executive vice president of Kikaku America International. With offices in Washington, D.C., and Boston, Kikaku provides healthcare consulting and analysis to health plans, providers, and the pharmaceutical industry. Kikaku specializes in creating reports on managed care, provider, and health strategy issues. As a Searle Fellow in the Federal Affairs Department of the Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), Mr. Sonnenreich analyzed congressional bills affecting the pharmaceutical industry. He came to PhRMA after his association with Searle Pharmaceuticals in Skokie, Illinois, where he was an associate managed care analyst and coordinated the company’s pharmaceutical sales to mail service and pharmacy benefit management companies. In addition to his work with federal legislation and managed care, Mr. Sonnenreich has worked in the areas of public policy and market research. He received a master’s degree in public policy and citizen participation at Tufts University.
