OPERATIVE TECHNIQUE:
3.5 mm alar resections were drawn and a Sheen type I alar resection (cutaneous) was performed after infiltration of the ala with local. An 11 blade was used to make the inferior incision extending medially along the alar base and culminating lateral to the nasal sill. 5-0 vicryl subcutaneous sutures were place followed by skin running sutures using 6-0 prolene.
